Entries are open for the 33rd Channel Islands Hobie Cat Championships, being held in the beautiful sailing arena of St. Aubin’s Bay at the end of the month.
The event is hosted by the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club and sponsored by Savills Estate Agents for the 6th year running.
Around 30 boats are expected to take to the water for a full weekend of competitive racing. All Hobie classes will be represented from Junior crews racing the Dragoons to youth and adult teams on Hobie 16’s including the 18ft Hobie Wildcats and Tigers.
There will be six qualifying races over the weekend to find the Champions in each class, racing starts at 10:00am on the Saturday and 11:00am on the Sunday. Registration and crews weigh is on the Friday evening from 6:00pm.

As always it promises to be a wonderful fast and colourful spectacle and will provide a great opportunity for our, junior, youth and adult teams who are training for the Hobie Multi Europeans being held at Lake Garda, Italy, in July”
