The first part of the event took place under very varied conditions with everything from no wind up to a gusty breeze around 25 knots or so. Quite challenging.
The Hobie Dragoons have sailed 11 races, and the podium is 100% Italian.
First place went to Spalloni Elena and Francesco Tisena with 23 points.
Second place went to Carlo Maria D‘amico and Alberto Dell‘atti with 27 points.
And the podium was completed by Roberto Marras and Riccardo Antinori with 27 points.
In the Hobie 14 Class, 12 races were completed sailed by 19 teams.
And the new 2024 HC14 European Champion is Thorin Zeilmaker’ from The Netherlands with 18 points followed by Daniel Borg from Canada with 32 points and on third place Michel Robert with 39 points from France.
Thorin also won the price for the best sailor in the HC14 Master category.
Katja Rindt, Germany, won the price as best women competitor.
Dominik Poulos, Poland, took the price as best youth sailor in the fleet.
In the HC16 Youth without spi, there were a total of 12 teams who completed 15 races.
First place goes to Lukas Riepe and Mats Taube from Germany with 25 points.
Second place went to Frederik Bokelmann and Emma Dreibrodt from Germany with 34 points.
Finally, the third place got to the Polish team Oliwier Kazowski and Adam Rutkowski with 56 points.
In the HC16 Youth with spi, there were a total of 18 teams who completed 15 races.
The top podium was taken by Carlo Mustacchi & Gaia Merli, Italy, 31 points. Palolo Pedde & Samuele De la Ville, Italy, came second with 41 points and Vincenzo Sebastiani & Stefano Troiano, Italy, took third place with 50 points.
A total of 14 HC16 Master teams have completed 6 races in various wind conditions between Northern Wind called Peler and Ora from the South.
New 2024 HC16 Master European Champion are Arnaud Thieme and Ludovic Siguret from France with 9 points followed by current HC16 World Champs Cam Owen and Suz Ghent from Australia with 15 points.
The Italians from Sardinia Pierandrea Gessa and Roberto Dessy are completing the podium with 22 points. This team also won the price for best Grand Masters team.
Simon Morgan & Bryony Spieza, Greece, took the price as best Great Grand Masters team.
And finally, in the EHCA HC16 Spi Cup there were 9 teams and 6 races got raced.
First Klemens & Gundi Kitzmüller from Austria with 9 points. Second place got to Aurelien Bell and Quentin Bertramo with 10 points. And on third place from Denmark Mikkel Stampe Nielsen and Emma Chandler Hansen with 14 points.
