This years calendar is jam packed with quality events including the Savills Channel Islands Championships, it’s a special one, the 30th Anniversary, so make sure to keep any holiday arrangements away from that weekend. Also other major international events such as the Hobie Multi Europeans in Spain July and the British H16 Nationals in Poole end of August. The British Hobie Class Association are organising 3 major Grand Prix events next Summer which will include the Nationals and theChannel Island Championships.
NOW IS THE TIME to be checking your Hobie’s over to make sure all is in good working order after their winter hibernation. Darren’s H16 ‘Maintenance Check & Servicing List’ Very important to make sure any stay’s that hold the mast up are not kinked or frayed, if so replace before sailing. Quite a few have been working on their rudders recently so important for upwind H16 sailing.
