The Hobie Cat Multi European Championship 2025 officially opened on August 13th in the stunning seaside town of Ustka, Poland – and the atmosphere could not have been better.
Set along Ustka’s beautiful sandy beach, the opening ceremony was bathed in sunshine and perfect summer weather. Sailors, families, and fans from across Europe gathered to celebrate not only the start of a top-class sailing event but also the reunion of the international Hobie family. Whether old friends or first-timers, everyone was united by a relaxed, joyful vibe that truly captured the Hobie Way of Life.
This year is particularly special, as the European Championship is being held in Ustka for the very first time – a long-anticipated and exciting new location. The event is proudly embedded in the PGE Baltica Charlotta Days, bringing together sport, culture, and community in one unforgettable setting.
The first races kick off on August 14th, with action from the Hobie Cat 14, Hobie Cat 16 Youth, and Spi Cup fleets. Excitement is especially high for the Hobie Cat 14 sailors: Ustka marks the final regatta of the 2025 Hobie Cat 14 Euro Cup series. At the conclusion of the championship, the Dinsdale Trophy will be awarded to the overall series winner – a moment eagerly awaited by sailors and fans alike.
With the sails ready, spirits high, and the Hobie community stronger than ever, the stage is set for a spectacular week of racing and celebration in Ustka.
