November Update
The Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club is delighted to share the latest news and upcoming events from the Hobie Fleet, as we look ahead to an exciting close to the year and an action-packed 2026 season.
Rosscot Winter Series – Races 7 & 8 This Sunday
Racing continues this Sunday, 16th November, with Races 7 & 8 of the Rosscot Winter Series.
Please note the earlier start time of 1:30 pm, moved forward from 2:00 pm due to reduced daylight.
Sailors requiring a crew or helm are encouraged to make contact as soon as possible.
This exhilarating 10-race series (with 7 races to count) concludes on 30th November, followed by the Prize Givingduring the H/Fleet Christmas Lunch on Sunday 14th December.

Please note: The ES Cat Dash & Surf Races have been moved to avoid a clash with the British Hobie 16 Nationals.

Hobie Fleet Christmas Lunch & Rosscot Winter Series Prize Giving
Our much-loved H/Fleet Christmas Lunch will take place on Sunday 14th December at the Club, with arrival from 1:00 pm for a 1:30 pm sit-down.
Now celebrating its 30th year, this cherished annual gathering brings together sailors, families, and friends for a festive meal, lively conversation, and the presentation of the Rosscot Winter Series prizes. Expect a special presentation and plenty of classic “Tales from the Deep”!
Booking deadline: Thursday 11th December.
Early booking is strongly recommended — all members and guests are welcome!
New Development – Hobie Fleet Sub-Committee
We are pleased to share a proposal for the creation of a new Hobie Fleet 386 Sub-Committee, thanks to Megan, who has put forward the idea of forming a group focused on social events, community engagement, and fresh initiatives to support the Hobie community.
