🌊 Three Days of Racing at Tognazzi Marine Village: 12 Races Completed
Three days of sport, wind and passion for sailing came to life at the Tognazzi Marine Village, which hosted a Hobie Cat regatta with a fleet of 20 boats: 10 Hobie Cat 16 Spi and 10 Hobie Dragoon.
The opening day immediately challenged both sailors and organizers, with a northerly breeze that was unstable in both intensity and direction. Despite the demanding conditions, the experience of the club staff and the excellent work of the race committee made it possible to complete 4 races for the Hobie Cat 16 Spi fleet and 3 for the Dragoon fleet, with one race abandoned due to lack of wind.
The second and third days brought more typical spring conditions, with sunshine, warmer temperatures and a lighter but more stable breeze. These conditions allowed the full racing schedule to be completed, reaching a total of 12 races and ensuring solid and fair final standings.
A special thank you goes to the entire club staff and the race committee for their outstanding work both on the water and ashore. Their professionalism, experience and strong team spirit were key to the success of the event.
Once again, the regatta highlighted the strong spirit of the Hobie Cat community, where competition, friendship and shared experiences come together both on and off the water, creating a truly meaningful sporting event.
