In the days leading up to the start of the Eurocup, Italy experienced a low-pressure system that brought unusually cold conditions and even snowfall at low altitudes.
However, by Saturday morning, the weather shifted dramatically. Despite snow still visible in the mountains, spring conditions arrived with sunshine and warmer temperatures—though notably, there was very little wind.
Throughout all three days of racing, conditions were dominated by light and inconsistent winds, at times too weak for optimal racing. In total, only six races could be completed. Sailors had to contend not only with the lack of wind but also with constantly shifting conditions and a strong current, making racing particularly challenging.
While the weather this year was far from ideal for sailing, the overall experience remained enjoyable thanks to the sunny skies and mild temperatures, which made for a pleasant stay despite the difficult racing conditions and a great Hobie Way of Life atmosphere.
