Cut Party marks a key milestone at the Hobie 16 European Championships in Ustka, Poland 🇵🇱
After two intense racing days of qualifying races, the atmosphere reached a new high with the much-anticipated Cut Party. Sailors, supporters, coaches and organizers gathered to celebrate the successful qualification round, where 15 teams earned their spots in the prestigious Gold Fleet, joining the 34 pre-qualified teams.
The evening was more than just a celebration of competition. This year’s Cut Party carried special significance as the Hobie community also honored the 75th anniversary of the Hobie brand with a big birthday cake, a milestone that highlights decades of fun, adventure, and camaraderie on and off the water.
With the fleet now splitling into Gold and Silver, the championship enters its next phase: four days of high-stakes racing where Europe’s as well as oversea’s best Hobie 16 sailors will battle it out for this year’s title.
The energy is high, the teams are focused, and the spirit of Hobie sailing is stronger than ever in Ustka.
