Hobie Cat European Championship in Ustka, the final stage of the first edition of the Dinsdale Trophy, also known as the HC14 EuroCup. It was the first year and saw a good turnout, with 45 participants across the three events, coming from 6 European countries and 3 non-EU nations.
The event was not only about the competition but also about having fun, building community, and spending time together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere – truly embracing the Hobie Way of Life.
After a total of 9 racing days, the most consistent sailor was Daniel Borg from Canada, followed by Thorin Zeilmaker from the Netherlands (European champion for the second year in a row), and Franco Bove from Italy.
With the 2025 edition concluded, we’ve already set the calendar for 2026, hoping for even greater participation and ensuring more opportunities to “have Hobie days” in the true Hobie Way of Life.
The first event will be held over Easter (April 4–6) in Cesenatico, Italy, followed by Bostalsee, Germany (May 9–10), and concluding in Carcans, France, with the European Championship (August 18–28).
Have a Hobie Day!
